Literacy Remediation & Evidence-Based Instruction, Assessment & Advocacy:

At Sky Bound Learning, I believe that each student’s goals should be appropriately challenging and ambitious. Every student deserves a chance to learn in the way that suits him/her best.  I provide literacy assessment, consultation and one-on-one personalized instruction in a safe setting, where I focus on your child’s unique academic history, experiences and objectives. Together, we will explore and determine present levels of skills and performance to understand and design individualized academic targets. 

We will make use of a number of assessment and instructional tools, including research-based, evidence-proven multisensory approaches, which tap into visual, auditory and kinesthetic neural pathways, to achieve meaningful progress and results. Ultimately, through ongoing partnership and communication with you, I will help your child take academic risks, and make purposeful strides that are authentic and in line with his/her learning profile and plan. And we will do so while having fun, making connections and sparking curiosity!

With extensive training and experience in the fields of elementary and special education, and advanced training in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction, I recognize that each student’s path is unique and must be carefully and artfully designed.
